Immersive Cricket Experiences
Bringing T20 cricket into spatial computing — built for Apple Vision Pro with a simple but ambitious goal: capture the energy of a T20 World Cup match so fans feel like they’re standing inside the stadium, not watching from a flat screen.
Designing for Presence, Not Just Screens
The whole experience is built around spatial presence, with a detailed digital twin of each stadium and highlights anchored to the ground and stands. Data — scorecards, player stats, POV replays — is treated as objects floating in space at comfortable viewing distances. The “Spatial Highlights” feature lets a fan tap once to move from a 2D stream into a 3D stadium replay.
Building an Immersive Cricket Pipeline
A custom data pipeline drives spatial playback, starting with a high-fidelity stadium digital twin optimized for Vision Pro performance. Ball-tracking data, batsman POV feeds, and match events from multiple sources are cleaned, synchronized, and mapped into 3D so the action lines up with the 2D broadcast.
Technical Highlights
- One-tap transition from a 2D stream into a 3D stadium replay
- Digital twin stadiums optimized for Vision Pro
- Multi-source data ingestion — ball-tracking, batsman POV, match events — synchronized via timecode alignment
- Look/tap/pinch interaction model with eye-tracked focus states
