Stratum

A scenario-based flight training platform for Apple Vision Pro, built for RealSimGear and shown at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh

Stratum is a foveated-streaming flight training platform built for RealSimGear, bringing a full training catalog — scenario-based lessons, aircraft selection, and in-flight coaching — to Apple Vision Pro. Shown live at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, the world’s largest aviation gathering.

A Real Training Catalog, Not Just a Demo

Stratum’s Training Catalog lets pilots search and select from scenarios by name, airport, skill, or aircraft — mountain cross-country flights, landing practice, ground reference maneuvers — each tagged with difficulty, duration, and target audience, with attempt history and best-score tracking built in.

Coaching Built Into the Flight

Before a session starts, pilots choose their aircraft (Cirrus SR20, SR22, SR22T, or the SF50 Vision Jet) and can toggle live coaching — instructor callouts and HUD guidance — on or off, then continue straight into training with their progress tracked across attempts.

Foveated Streaming, Built for Flight

Flight simulation demands both wide field-of-view detail and razor-sharp focus on instrument panels — a hard combination to stream at full resolution. Foveated streaming solves this by rendering the highest detail where the pilot is actually looking, keeping the experience sharp and responsive without overloading the pipeline.

On the Show Floor at Oshkosh

The experience was demoed on-site at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026, putting attendees behind the controls of a RealSimGear cockpit setup on Apple Vision Pro.
